Wanderlust (2015) is the debut instrumental guitar EP by composer and guitarist Santiago Kodela. Released as a self-financed project, the EP presents four original works that explore travel, distance, and introspection through melodic guitar writing shaped by rock, jazz, and metal influences.
The EP unfolds as a series of contrasting musical landscapes. Time To Sleep opens with a reflective and intimate character, followed by the rhythmically intricate Attraction. Daydreaming introduces heightened energy and expressive intensity, while Solivagant closes the release with a genre-blending and exploratory finale. Across all four tracks, layered guitars, subtle percussion, and carefully shaped harmonies create a cohesive instrumental narrative.
This physical CD edition is presented in a high-quality digipak format, wrapped in protective cellophane, and includes full credits, lyrics, and high-resolution artwork by Ignacio Monereo. Wanderlust documents an early stage in Santiago Kodela’s development as a composer and performer, offering insight into his formative compositional voice.
This is the final physical pressing of Wanderlust. Once sold out, it will not be repressed.
