The Distant Shepherd is a six-movement suite for solo guitar exploring the full timbral and emotive range of the instrument. Through iso-rhythms, metric modulation, and chord harmonization, the work unfolds as an evocative portrait of a lone shepherd tending to his flock.

Produced by Santiago Kodela and mixed and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Bob Katz.

The album was awarded a 3rd Prize Bronze Medal at the 2023 Global Music Awards.
